The political process can seem a little crazy at times can't it? It can get downright nasty. At The Baptist Page.net we feel that every Christian should vote; how can you not? Cutting through the the spin can be almost impossible, but if you do your homework you can make an informed decision. Eventually there will be more information on candidates throughout the United States and Canada, but for now we offer these links to the major parties as well as sites that will show you their voting record and how they are rated by various special interest groups. If you haven't done it yet, please register for next voting cycle, and VOTE!

The Democratic Party

Canada

What is a Baptist?
We at The Baptist Page.net have decided to endorse John McCain for President of the United States. While we can't say that we agree with him on everything, voting for Barack Obama is simply not an option, and not voting because we believe McCain isn't conservative enough will give us at least four years of a liberal President, and when combined with the current congress that is scary. If we agree with McCain only 80% of the time, that certainly is better than the 20% of the time we'll agree with Mr. Obama. Do we REALLY want homosexual marriage and higher taxes for example? We say no. Vote for McCain.
